Parallel Minds

Just when I thought I had you, figured out

You turned the tables in a round –about

Looking back, I was surprised to find

My first encounter with a Parallel Mind

Came out on top for the longest while

Drove the lead car for the longest mile

Little did I know, I was driving blind

Till I encountered a Parallel Mind

 

Two Parallel Minds,  A tug of war between two of a kind

A game of chance, where nobody wins

Just parallel Minds, Headstrong we can’t see the signs

Bound to fail, before it begins

We push and pull and fight against the tide

I can run but there’s nowhere to hide

All these games of the mind they take their toll

And I lose control
